5 Tips for Betting on Golf
We have a few tips for you if you are planning to place a bet on any of the golfers this season!

  1. Darren Fichardt: The South African player was quite a youngster when the tournament was last played at the venue, but he had a 54-hole lead before he succumbed to the second-place way back in 2000. He was ranked 9th in the Nedbank Golf Challenge a couple weeks back, and he has an excellent record at home.
  2. Haydn Porteous: Haydn Porteous was born in the city of Johannesburg, and that is why this tournament is going to be really important for him to win at all levels. He has won the Joburg Open before back in 2016. He is quite a dangerous player on a good day and is a crazy hitter, always on the lookout to win more points and secure a win.
  3. Zander Lombard: Zander Lombard won the event Vodacom Origins of Gold-Zebula that was part of the Sunshine Tour that happened a few months back. But he has fallen short since then missing 7 out of 10 cuts recently. He has been very inconsistent recently, and that has been highlighted even more when he had 82 in the last round of the Open at that was held at Carnoustie. He was supposed to finish at least in the top 15 of the event going by his then performance. But he is a good performer and player and thus might just end up surprising you if you decide to bet on you.
  4. Dean Burmester: he has been in five top 10’s this year including the DP World Tour Championship. He also finished 11th in the Nedbank Golf Challenge. Hence, he might be worth the risk of betting.
