PORT LOUIS, Mauritius, Capital Markets in Africa — The bearish mood waxed stronger on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius equity markets. The equity market capitalization closed at MUR 213.676 after losing MUR 485 million (US$13.6 million) relative to previous market capitalization of MUR 214.161 billion. The Mauritius All Share Index (SEMDEX index) plunged by 0.23 percent or 4.36 points to close at 1,918.76 points and SEM10 index closed at 365.10 points after losing 0.35 percent or 1.29 points….
